Hi! I’m Doris Ritter, let me be your tour guide to show you around and learn something special about this Gem of Franconia. As an experienced and professionally trained guide, I am recommended by Rick Steves in his Germany Guidebook. I am also a certified guide with the Federal Association of German Guides, a member of the Nuernberg Guide e.V. (Nuernberg Guide Association) and Official Member of the Registered Association of Nuernberg Tourist Guides.

Whether your visit to Nuremberg is your first, second, or nth time; there is always something to discover and to bewilder you. As a Nuernbergerin, (local lady from Nuremberg), I can take you to the most interesting, amazing and remarkable sights and landmarks as well as some less-known bits of Nuremberg.

Tours can be arranged based on your personal choice, or from my recommendations with your preferences and interests addressed. An example of a tour maybe focused on special themes like:

A little bit about me:

As a lover of travel myself, I decided to be a tour guide in the city I am very fond of. I am a true believer that through travel and the people we meet, we enrich each other’s lives! My family and I have travelled in places like: Italy, France, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Thailand, Great Britain, Sweden, Hongkong and in a lot of places in Germany.

Let me share more about me:

I was born in a quaint little village in the outskirts of Nuremberg, so I am what we consider as a true “Fränkin” (Franconian woman). I studied Economics in Nuremberg, worked for a while then settled to domesticity, being married with three sons. In 2003, I qualified as a Nuremberg Tour Guide and was certified in 2006.
